Asda Stores Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Wholesale Operations Manager to lead day-to-day wholesale delivery, ensuring excellent customer service, strong operational performance and robust financial controls across the wholesale business.

You will act as the primary account manager for key wholesale customers, coordinate forecasting, stock availability and replenishment, and drive continuous improvement alongside Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and Commercial teams to support growth and customer

• Experience onboarding and managing wholesale customers in wholesale/retail/FMCG environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.
• Proven ability to manage operational performance, service levels and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness, including forecasting and stock management.

Role Summary

What You’ll Do

About You

Experience in onboarding and managing wholesale customers and operational delivery within a wholesale, retail, FMCG environment Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate activity across Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, IT, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and HR teams Proven experience building relationships with customers and external stakeholders, including senior customer contacts and business leaders Experience managing operational performance, service levels, customer issues and continuous improvement initiatives Strong commercial and financial awareness, including forecasting, stock management, billing and performance reporting Ability to lead projects and deliver results through influence rather than direct authority Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting business growth, customer retention and service improvement initiatives.
