Get Recruited (UK) Ltd is seeking a Sales and Marketing Assistant for a dynamic independent retailer in South Cumbria, Kendal. The role blends sales, marketing and business development to grow the wholesale channel and expand the brand's footprint.

You’ll drive new business, manage a strong pipeline, and work with teams across Wholesale, Marketing, Design and Operations to convert prospects into active accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience within Sales, Marketing and/or Business Development.
• Appetite for winning new business.
• Confidence with outbound prospecting and sales calls.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive approach to finding new opportunities.
• Interest in fashion, retail, lifestyle, gifting or e‑commerce.

Responsibilities

• Find and approach new independent retailers and stockists.
• Make outbound calls to introduce potential customers.
• Build a pipeline of new B2B opportunities.
• Turn prospects into wholesale accounts.
• Use Sales and Marketing activity to open new areas.
• Identify gaps in the network and fill them.
• Use Shopify, customer data and AI tools to prospect smarter.
• Follow up opportunities from online channels.
• Support B2B Sales and Marketing campaigns.
• Represent the brand at trade shows and events.
• Build relationships with retailers and commercial partners.
• Collaborate with Wholesale, Marketing, Design, Operations and Customer Service.
