Job summary

Alongside seeks an Outreach Plus Worker in Weymouth to provide frontline outreach and support to homeless individuals across Dorset. You will engage with clients, assess needs and link them with housing, health, welfare and other support services.

You will work in a fast-paced, hands-on role with a focus on resilience, initiative and proactive problem-solving. A driving license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Full driving license and own vehicle required for work purposes.
• Experience with vulnerable adults and/or complex needs is desirable.
• Ability to work flexibly including early mornings, evenings and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive outreach across Dorset to identify and engage individuals who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with clients to support access to housing, welfare, health and other services.
• Provide practical support and advocacy to reduce barriers to accessing services and ensure continuity of support during accommodation.
• Collaborate with local authorities, health services, housing providers and partner agencies to develop outreach initiatives.
