Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an Electrical Shift Engineer for a high-availability Data Centre in West London. The role covers continental days and nights with a salary of £54,000 plus overtime and a package.

You will maintain operations, perform diagnostics on critical electrical systems, keep accurate logs, and liaise with client representatives to ensure service quality and compliance with HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrical engineer with NVQ Level 3 / C&G or equivalent and 18th Edition.
• Previous experience on data centers or other critical sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and planned works to schedule.
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics across electrical systems.
• Maintain site logs and ensure client approval.
• Engage with client representatives to address queries.
• Manage stock and consumables to agreed levels.
• Conduct condition inspections and report risks.
• Adhere to HSE policies for zero-harm environment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and call-outs.
• Identify improvements for productivity and cost efficiency.
• Supervise subcontractor works on site.
