Job summary

Ysgol Gymraeg Dyffryn y Glowyr in Swansea is seeking a teaching assistant to join our Specialist Centre. The post supports pupils with significant additional learning needs under the Teacher in Charge, helping learning, communication, wellbeing and inclusion.

• The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post.
• Experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the Specialist Centre and access mainstream learning where appropriate.
• Contribute to specialist interventions and individual support programmes.
• Work under the direction of the Teacher in Charge of the Specialist Centre.
