Job Title: Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant for a Secondary School in Aberdare. The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and the Welsh Language Unit to provide enriching experiences for students and support Welsh Medium Learning.

Responsibilities

1. Support teachers in daily classroom activities.
2. Assist students on a 1:1 basis, especially ALN students.
3. Promote Welsh language learning and adhere to Welsh Learning Standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluent Welsh speaker.
• Level 3 qualification and/or at least 6 months of experience in education.
• Experience in secondary or further education settings (preferred).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
