Job description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant for one of our exceptional Secondary Schools located in Rhondda Cynon Taf! The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside the Teacher and Welsh Language Unit, providing enriching experiences for students. Staff are committed to student development.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the Teacher in daily classroom duties
2. Assist students with learning on a 1:1 basis
3. Provide additional support to ALN students
4. Promote Welsh Medium Learning and implement Welsh Learning Standards

Requirements:

• Be a Fluent Welsh-Speaker
• Be Level 3 qualified and/or have at least 6 months experience in education
• Experience in teaching in Secondary or Further Education settings (preferred)
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
