Job summary

CareTech Community Services Ltd in Gwynedd is recruiting a Support Worker to deliver person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs in Y Felinheli. We offer full-time permanent roles (37.5 hours per week) with a rota that includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

Wales-based applicants who can communicate in Welsh are essential; full training and DBS are provided to support your development with CareTech.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate in Welsh is essential
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
Commitment to achieving a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care
Enhanced DBS check (paid for by CareTech)

Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs
Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
Support individuals to access activities, appointments, and the local community
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Participate in a rota that includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins
