Job summary

Equal Education Partners is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Welsh-speaking Sports Coaches to work across secondary schools in the Carmarthenshire area. The role blends sports coaching with classroom supervision, ideal for coaches, sports graduates, aspiring PE teachers, or those with experience with secondary pupils.

You will deliver engaging sports sessions, support PE departments, lead extracurricular activities, and supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff while ensuring students

Qualifications

• Welsh speaking fluency is essential.
• Experience with children or young people.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions to secondary pupils.
• Support Physical Education departments during lessons and activities.
• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a productive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Encourage pupil participation, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyles through sport.
• Support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and events as required.
