Welsh Speaking School Receptionist

Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for organisation, schools, and spreadsheets? Do you believe that bilingual brilliance belongs in the classroom and the front office? Then we’ve got just the role for you!

Supply Desk are on the lookout for a superstar School Receptionist to join a wonderful client school in Cardiff — and we need you to start yesterday (or at least, very soon!)

About the Role:

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill admin gig. As the friendly face of the school office, you’ll be:

  • Greeting visitors, parents, and pupils (with a warm Shwmae!)
  • Handling phone and email enquiries like a pro
  • Keeping things ticking with attendance records, registers, and school data systems
  • Supporting staff and senior leaders with daily admin duties
  • Keeping the school calendar in check and the photocopier stocked (yes, it’s part of the magic)

You’ll Need To:

  • Be fluent in Welsh (spoken and written)
  • Have top-notch admin and organisational skills
  • Be confident, approachable, and happy to muck in
  • Hold (or be happy to get) an Enhanced DBS – we can help with that!
  • Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
