Job summary

SET Recruitment is seeking Welsh-speaking Learning Support Assistants to join our network in Wales. You will support pupils, assist Welsh language learning, and help create an inclusive classroom with teachers.

The role offers a daily rate of £92.56 and opportunities for ongoing placements and professional development via our training platform. DBS costs are covered for first-time applicants not on the update service. Role subject to Enhanced DBS check.

We are currently building a talent pool to meet ongoing staffing needs across the region and are seeking experienced Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join our network. This role involves providing dedicated support to pupils, facilitating Welsh language learning and ensuring an inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students' individual needs, promote engagement in Welsh language activities, and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, preferably in a Welsh language setting
• Strong understanding of Welsh language support strategies
• Ability to build rapport with pupils and staff
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Excellent communication skills in Welsh and English
• Ability to attend to the specific educational needs of pupils with varied learning requirements

SET Recruitment will cover the cost of the first DBS for any candidate not already on the update service.
