Job summary

SET Recruitment is building a talent pool for ongoing staffing in Wales and seeks Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistants to join our network for Aberfan, Merthyr. As a Temp Welsh Speaking LSA, you will support learners with Welsh language needs, working closely with teaching staff to help students reach their learning potential in a positive environment.

DBS costs covered for new staff; access to free training and a dedicated Candidate Care Team to support your professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Learning Support Assistant in educational settings.
• Fluency in Welsh and English (written and spoken).
• Experience supporting learners, especially Welsh speakers.
• Ability to implement and adapt support plans for learners.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Relevant references demonstrating prior support work.

We are currently building a talent pool for ongoing staffing needs across the region and are seeking Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our trusted network on behalf of our client based in Aberfan, Merthyr. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in supporting learners, particularly those with Welsh Language support experience. As a Temp Welsh Speaking LSA, you will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support to students, ensuring they reach their learning potential in a positive environment. The role requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting learners with diverse needs. Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, specifically with Welsh language support
• Fluency in Welsh and English, both written and spoken
• Experience working with students in an educational setting
• Ability to effectively implement support plans and adapt to learners' needs
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Relevant references demonstrating previous support work
