Job summary

Bridgend County Borough Council is recruiting two Family Support Worker posts to work 37 hours per week on a fixed term until 31 March 2027.

You will join an Early Help Locality Team, liaising with partner services and using Signs of Wellbeing/TAF systems to identify needs and support families. Welsh language ability, DBS enhanced check and driving licence are required; Hybrid Working Policy applies.

Qualifications

• Welsh language ability is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an Early Help Locality Team to devise, implement and support a range of services for children, young people and families.
• Liaise with other service providers in the Early Help Locality Hubs across Bridgend Localities and with the Central Team.
• Use operational systems (Signs of Wellbeing, Team around the Family) to identify needs and track progress to improve outcomes.
