Prospero Teaching is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to support children with additional learning needs across settings in Cardiff. This role is based in Welsh medium schools, therefore it is essential that you are able to communicate fluently in Welsh. It is desirable to have gone through the Welsh education system yourself, although not essential. This is a supply position with roles in both Primary and Secondary schools, and you can specify your preference during the registration process after your application is received.
You will be supporting children who require additional support, which may be due to academic needs or additional learning needs.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
It is essential that you have experience working with children in some capacity, whether voluntary or paid. You MUST be able to speak Welsh to apply for this position.
Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
Team Teach certification is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training is required; a free course can be undertaken with Prospero Teaching if not completed in the last 12 months.
Strong Behaviour Management skills are essential.
