Job summary

Academics is seeking a Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in RCT to work in a Reception class. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with an immediate start.

You will support learning and daily activities in a Welsh-speaking setting, assisting with routines and classroom management. Ideal candidates will be fluent in Welsh, have experience with children (preferably in Early Years/Reception), and hold an Enhanced DBS with EWC registration and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh speaker required.
• Experience working with children.
• Early Years/Reception experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within a Welsh Medium Reception class.
• Assist with learning, play and classroom activities.
• Support children’s social, emotional and educational development.
• Help maintain a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
• Assist pupils with routines and day-to-day classroom needs.
