Job summary

Swansea University is seeking a Workforce Tutor to deliver Welsh language courses to employees across a range of sectors, providing motivating, high-quality teaching and learner support.

This is a fixed-term appointment until 31 July 2027, with possible extension subject to future funding within Learn Welsh. The tutor will teach about 21 hours per week, face-to-face or online, and support learners at all levels.

Qualifications

• High standard of Welsh and ability to teach adults
• Substantial experience teaching Welsh to adults
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use digital technologies to support learning

Responsibilities

• Deliver Welsh language courses to employers across sectors
• Teach around 21 hours per week (face-to-face or online)
• Assess and support learners; provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders; travel across Swansea Bay region
