TeacherActive Ltd in Swansea is seeking a dedicated Welsh Language Coach to join a bilingualism initiative at a further education college. You will mentor learners one-to-one, plan group sessions and support Welsh-medium work to boost confidence and language use.

• Fluent Welsh with excellent written and verbal communication.

• Essential requirement: Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

What will you be doing?

As a Welsh Language Coach, you will play a key role in promoting bilingualism and helping learners develop their Welsh language skills. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one mentoring and setting achievable learning targets.
• Planning and delivering engaging group sessions to encourage Welsh language use.
• Monitoring Welsh-medium work and supporting learners to build confidence.
• Motivating and inspiring learners to use Welsh throughout their studies.
• Working closely with lecturing staff and Learning Area Managers to promote bilingual learning across the college.

What we're looking for

The successful Welsh Language Coach will have:

• Essential requirement: Applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
