Job summary

Catch22 is seeking a Wellbeing Practitioner to support adult males in the Criminal Justice System across Cornwall and Devon. The role focuses on helping service users manage emotions, deliver skills training, and advocate with multi-agency partners to engage with treatment and other professionals.

The post supports the Justice Business Plan objectives: innovate, revitalise and reform service delivery. Based in Cornwall with a 38-hour week, the contract is permanent.

Qualifications

• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
• Evidence of continual professional development.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Desirable: qualification relevant to rehabilitation of offenders (criminology/criminal justice/social care/mental health/IAG/Family Services/Emotional Wellbeing/Social Inclusion)

Responsibilities

• Support service users to develop strategies to manage emotions and design/deliver skills training to foster self-confidence.
• Help service users increase capacity for daily living activities and advocate with multi-agency partners.
• Support the Justice Business Plan objectives: innovate, revitalise and reform delivery of Justice Services.
