Job summary

Catch22 is seeking a multi-skilled Wellbeing Practitioner based primarily in Portsmouth and Havant, with possible travel across Hampshire. The role supports adult male ex-offenders across pathways including emotional wellbeing and social inclusion.

You will help service users access support, build daily living skills, and advocate for them with multi-agency partners to engage with treatment and related professionals. The post may involve collaboration with HMPPS and other partners.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
• Evidence of continual professional development.
• Experience of working with Microsoft Office - Word and Excel.

This position is based primarily in Portsmouth and Havant, and can require travel to other areas within Hampshire.

This post presents an exciting opportunity to become a multi skilled Wellbeing Practitioner at our Personal Wellbeing service, covering the Hampshire & IOW area. Commissioned by HMPPS, these services are focused on supporting adult male ex-offenders across the following pathways; Family and Significant Others, Lifestyle and Associates, Emotional Wellbeing Services, Social Inclusion.

Your role will support service users, increasing their knowledge of how to access appropriate support. You will also support service users to increase capacity to undertake activities to support daily living and advocate for service users in conjunction with multi-agency partners to engage with treatment and other professionals/services (MH teams/support groups) Your role will support our team in achieving our Justice Business Plan objectives: innovate, revitalise and reform the delivery of Justice Services.

You’ll work in close partnership with delivery partners, HMPPS, Voluntary Sector and other Criminal Justice organisations to promote and deliver our services and achieve the required outputs and outcomes.

Qualifications

Essential

• Valid UK driving license, and access to a vehicle.
• Good basic education, including Maths and English GCSE, or equivalent.
• Evidence of continual professional development.
• Experience of working with Microsoft Office - Word and Excel.

Desirable

• Qualification relevant to rehabilitation of offenders, for example criminology/ criminal justice/ social care/ mental health/ IAG/ family services/ emotional wellbeing/ social inclusion.

Contract: Permanent

Hours & work pattern: Part Time 0.7 FTE - 26.5 hours per week.

Salary: £26,097.00 FTE - £18,199.22 pro-rata

Location: Opportunity will cover Portsmouth and Havant areas.
