Job summary

Blackpool and The Fylde College, Bispham campus, seeks a skilled Web Developer to maintain and enhance the college's web presence and related systems. You will work to ensure security, availability and performance, delivering enhancements and integrations across platforms.

Working closely with colleagues and suppliers, you will support day-to-day operations and contribute to improvements across digital services.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop web infrastructure and interfaces for the College's digital services.
  • Ensure security, availability and performance of web systems and keep them updated with lifecycle changes.
  • Support business-as-usual operations, incident resolution and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across web platforms.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Web Developer to support, maintain and enhance B&FC Group's web presence, associated systems and interfaces. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing web infrastructure, delivering system enhancements and integrations, ensuring security, availability and performance, and keeping systems updated in line with product lifecycles and identified vulnerabilities. Working closely with colleagues, vendors and product owners, you will support business-as-usual operations, contribute to incident resolution, maintain high-quality documentation, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and supporting the systems that underpin the College's digital services.
