Clarendon Care Services Ltd seeks a warm and creative Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator to enrich everyday life for residents at St Johns Nursing Home in Bromsgrove. The role focuses on meaningful activities, social engagement and person-centred care.
You will design engaging activities, build relationships with families and communities, and support residents to maintain hobbies and independence. DBS check required, role based in Worcestershire.
Could you be the person who makes someone's day? Sometimes it's the big things - organising a party, arranging a day out or bringing the community into our home. But often, it's the little things that matter most. Putting on someone's favourite song. Sitting down for a cup of tea and a chat. Helping someone continue a hobby they have enjoyed for years. Getting outside into the garden. Sharing a laugh. Or simply noticing that someone needs a little company.
At St Johns Nursing Home, we're looking for a warm, creative and enthusiastic Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator who can bring energy, ideas and meaningful moments into the everyday lives of our residents.
Clarendon Care Services Ltd is a forward-thinking and growing organisation with established residential and nursing homes across the Midlands. We pride ourselves on providing residents with the highest standards of care by employing people who bring compassion, kindness and commitment to their work.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contracted hours: 30 hours per week
Location: St Johns Street, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B61 8QT
This isn't about filling a calendar with activities.
You'll spend time getting to know the people who live at St Johns - who they are, the lives they have lived, what they enjoy and what really matters to them.
You'll then use that knowledge to create opportunities that support residents' wellbeing, independence, relationships and sense of purpose.
Your role will include:
One day you might be organising live entertainment, another you could be gardening with a resident, helping someone video call their family, running a quiz, arranging a trip out or simply sitting together looking through old photographs.
No two days need to look the same.
We're much more interested in who you are as a person than having the perfect CV.
You might already work in activities or wellbeing within a care home - but you might also come from hospitality, childcare, events, entertainment, community work, education or another people-focused role.
You could be perfect for this role if you are:
If you enjoy bringing people together and want a rewarding role where your ideas and kindness matter, we'd love to hear from you.
An enhanced DBS check will be required. The cost will be met by Clarendon Care Services Ltd, subject to terms and conditions.
Candidates invited to interview will be asked to complete our application form and provide proof of their eligibility to work in the UK.
