Job summary

Cinnamon’s Rivermede Court in Egham seeks a flexible Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator to cover sickness and annual leave. You’ll coordinate activities that engage residents and support their independence, while liaising with staff and volunteers.

The role requires IT literacy, strong English communication, and a warm, outgoing manner to help plan events and promote resident participation in the local community.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and caring by nature.

• Outgoing personality with a friendly approach.
• IT literacy and experience using organisational systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Organise and conduct activities that encourage social, mental and physical stimulation for residents.
• Help organise fundraising events.
• Assist with planning special events (e.g. Christmas entertainment, Ascot, Royal occasions).
• Assist in producing a monthly programme of events to discuss with the General Manager.
• Encourage residents and staff to participate in the home’s activities programme.
• Maintain posters and notice boards within the home.

Rivermede Court, based in Egham, Surrey, is an 80 bedded residential care home that provides the most luxurious surroundings and the very best in care and support.

We are looking for a flexible Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator to work on an ad hoc basis to cover sickness and annual leave. Rotas are planned in advance so you will be given notice of days/weeks to be worked.

The Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator role is a hands‑on working role with responsibility for coordinating and carrying out a successful activities and volunteer programme within the Cinnamon home. This includes internal and external communication about activities‑focused programmes for our residents. To introduce appropriate activities for older people which support independence and to identify activities in the surrounding areas that will assist residents to integrate into the local community.

Main Responsibilities:

1. 1. Organise and conduct activities that encourage both social, mental and if appropriate physical stimulation for the residents within the home.
2. To help organise fund raising events.
3. To help organise special events i.e. Christmas entertainment, Ascot, Royal Occasion, etc.
