Job summary

Cinnamon Care Collection in Warwick is seeking a Wellbeing & Lifestyle Assistant to coordinate activities and volunteers within Oakley Grange, supporting residents’ independence and community integration. Working closely with the Wellbeing & Lifestyle Lead, you will plan and deliver a monthly programme of events, communicate with residents and staff, and encourage participation.

This part‑time role (20 hours per week, some weekend work) includes benefits and induction support; sponsorship is not

Responsibilities

• Organise and conduct activities that encourage social, mental and physical stimulation for residents.
• Help organise fund-raising events.
• Help organise special events (e.g. Christmas entertainment, Ascot, Royal occasions).
• Produce a monthly programme of events with the General Manager.
• Encourage residents and team members to take part in the activities programme.
• Maintain posters and notice boards within the home.

Oakley Grange is a luxurious residential and dementia care home based in Warwick offering state-of-the-art facilities, which include 66 large en-suite bedrooms and 5 luxury care suites. The home also features luxurious lounges and dining rooms, an on-site café bar, a cinema and a professional hair and beauty salon.

We have an opportunity for a Wellbeing & LifestyleAssistantto join our team, working 20 hours per week which includes some weekend working.

Working very closely with ourWellbeing & Lifestyle Lead, theWellbeing & Lifestyle Assistant role is a hands-on working role with responsibility for coordinating a successful activities and volunteer programme within the Cinnamon home. This includes internal and external communication about activities-focused programmes for our residents.

To introduce appropriate activities for older people which support independence and to identify activities in the surrounding areas that will assist residents to integrate into the local community.
