Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle in Reigate seeks a Wellbeing and Lifestyle Assistant to drive a minibus and create engaging daily schedules that enhance residents’ wellbeing.

You’ll organise events, collaborate across departments and report on activities to the General Manager, supporting a luxurious care and nursing home environment.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills across staff, residents and families.
• IT skills to manage schedules and activity reports.
• Driving responsibilities require a full UK driving license and safe driving record.

• Create and manage packed daily schedules to support residents' physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Organise events throughout the year, e.g., Summer Fete, to enhance wellbeing.

• Various shift times between 07.00 and 20.00
• Full time and part time day shifts available
• You will primarily be responsible for driving our minibus, transporting residents safely and comfortably on trips and outings.
• Must hold a Full UK clean, manual driving license
• Up to 30 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays, depending on length of service

Job Introduction

Bring your enthusiasm and creativity to our fun, supportive team, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Wellbeing and Lifestyle Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Reigate.

Your Role at Signature

From floristry to folk music, as Wellbeing and Lifestyle Assistant, you’ll bring a wealth of ideas to improve and maintain our residents’ wellbeing. You’ll producea packed daily schedule that caters to residents’ physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. You’ll also organise key events throughout the year such asour Summer Fete.

You’ll be considerate of the diverse needs of individuals in a group situation, and aware of everyone’s personal care needs. Meaningful activities enhance our residents quality of life and that is why it is important to understand their likes and dislikes. You’ll also gain regular feedback from residents and provide activity reports to the General Manager.

Internally, this role is called Hospitality Assistant, if you are successful this will be your job title. You will be required to work across a range of departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle. Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting.

You don’t need experience to become a Wellbeing and Lifestyle Assistant, just good written and verbal communication, IT skills and a full, clean driving license.
