Job summary

Champneys in Buxton is seeking a Food & Beverage supervisor to help run the department, lead the team and ensure exceptional service in the restaurant areas.

You will work with the senior team to maintain high standards, brief staff on menus, and ensure dietary requirements are clearly communicated to guests. The role emphasizes wellness, nutrition knowledge, and a supportive, professional culture across Champneys’ luxury resort.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service management.
• Ability to supervise and brief staff on daily operations.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and wellness-focused menus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day running of the department and brief the team on guests, bookings and food offerings.
• Supervise and maintain high standards of professional service in restaurant areas.
• Supervise daily cleaning of restaurants, service areas and equipment and ensure presentation is top quality.
• Assist with pre-service briefings and check daily menus with the senior chef on duty.
• Ensure dietary sheets are provided for guests with specific requirements.
• Support F&B assistants with training and supervise services.
• Document all sales and forward room charge receipts to front of house.
• Ensure staff have good knowledge of nutrition and adhere to dietary policies.
• Know and communicate guests' dietary requirements to staff.
