Job summary

Lodge Park Academy, part of The David Ross Education Trust, is seeking a welfare-focused role to respond to health and wellbeing needs of students. The post involves first aid, mental health support, and coordination with external agencies to implement care plans within the academy environment.

The successful candidate will maintain first aid equipment, support SEMH interventions, and contribute to the academy’s wellbeing strategy. DBS clearance and safeguarding duties apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and welfare support to students as directed by the vice principal.
• Administer medication and coordinate with external agencies when needed.
• Maintain first aid equipment and stock levels for the academy.
• Support SEMH and wellbeing casework in collaboration with the SENDCO.
• Promote wellbeing initiatives and participate in wellbeing training.
