The “Being Well at UCL” initiative focuses on Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, and Healthy Work, embedding wellbeing principles across faculties through peer support and community-driven initiatives.
About The Role
As the Wellbeing Community Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the wellbeing of staff at UCL. This involves:

- leading induction sessions
- hosting drop-ins
- and facilitating termly meetings.
You will oversee the planning and delivery of wellbeing and mental health training sessions, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless delivery of online and face-to-face sessions.
Additionally, you'll be supporting community projects, such as “Nearby Nature”, and delivering presentations to promote the “Being Well at UCL” initiative. Regularly reporting to senior management, you’ll provide updates on Wellbeing Champion activities, assess the impact of wellbeing initiatives, and develop evaluation mechanisms. You will also act as a key point of contact, accurately representing the views of Wellbeing Champions to the wider Workplace Health team.
As a visible ambassador for Workplace Health, you’ll work closely with Occupational Health colleagues, ensuring staff are aware of the clinical services available. You will also handle queries and provide guidance on wellbeing support using UCL’s MyServices platform.
Please note, this is a part-time role (0.8 FTE/ 29.2 hours per week) working Mon-Thurs. The role will be based onsite 2-days per week (Tues & Weds with some flexibility when required) in our London St Pancras office.
