Job summary

Highgate Care is seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator for Highfield Care Centre, Allerton Bywater, near Castleford. The role involves planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to residents, creating a warm and social environment, and supporting wellbeing on a daily basis.

You will coordinate outings, support families, and collaborate with care staff to promote holistic wellbeing, with occasional evenings and weekends as part of a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care or activities setting is a bonus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and run engaging activities for diverse residents.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinating outings and excursions to promote wellbeing and variety
• Working closely with care staff and families to support holistic wellbeing
• Recording participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement
