Job summary

Highgate Care Services Ltd is seeking an Activities Coordinator for Highfield Care Centre in Allerton Bywater. The role supports residents with engaging, person-centred activities that promote wellbeing and social connection.

You will work with care staff and families to tailor experiences, ensuring dignity and meaningful engagement for older residents. A flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends is expected.

• Care or activity setting experience is a bonus, personality matters.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Create a warm, inclusive social environment for all residents.
• Support residents in maintaining hobbies and discovering new ones.
• Organise social events, seasonal celebrations and community involvement.
• Coordinate outings to promote wellbeing and variety.
• Collaborate with care staff and families to support holistic wellbeing.
• Record participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement.
