What you'll be doing

• As the Wellbeing Coach, you'll be the person that residents, families, and colleagues know as the one who makes things happen.
• Developing and organising enrichment and wellbeing activities on a weekly and monthly schedule for our community, while getting to know our residents and discovering what makes them happy as individuals.
• Learning about residents' hobbies and interests and working with colleagues and families to ensure residents can continue doing what they love.
• Ensuring activities are fun and meaningful, catering to various interests and abilities. Activities may include seaside trips, pub lunches, birthday celebrations, mini-golf, workshops, cooking, crafts, or painting sessions.
• Supporting colleagues' wellbeing and leading the home to foster a positive and creative environment.

• Excellent communication skills, passion, empathy, and a desire to make people's lives more enjoyable and rewarding.
• Strong organisational skills, leadership experience, and self-motivation.
• Keen interest in the local area and community groups, with a focus on organising outings and events.
• Experience working or caring for people in a residential care setting or transferable skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, responsible for care planning and activity documentation.
• Leadership skills and experience in inspiring a team.
