Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council invites applications for a part-time Lifeguard to join the Wellbeing Centre Service in Aberystwyth. You will help develop inclusive leisure activities and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents of all ages and abilities.
DBS check is required for this role and you will work with the WBH Operations & Development team to deliver Learn To Swim, Free Swimming and School Swimming programmes, while promoting healthy, active lifestyles in the community.

We are looking to recruit a part-time Lifeguard to join our expanding Wellbeing Centre Service. As the council’s lead service for delivering and developing physical activity opportunities, you will work closely with the management team to ensure that the service maximises its contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of the county’s residents.
Leading teams to develop Wellbeing Hubs in the North of Ceredigion, you will identify how we can improve our current provision such as Learn To Swim programme, Free Swimming and our School Swimming programme and introduce new opportunities to increase the usage of all our facilities. Your role will also involve supporting our staff to provide an excellent customer experience.
We want to provide opportunities that encourage the residents of Ceredigion to become healthy and active and to embed those principles into their everyday lives. You will work closely with the Co-ordinator – WBH Operations & Development, Swimming Instructor and Duty Officers to achieve this.
