Job summary

Persona Care & Support Limited in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Care Assistant to support tenants with day-to-day living, personal care and social activities in our Extra Care schemes.

The role is on a rota basis, 20.5 hours per week, with some daytime, evening and weekend work and some Bank Holiday shifts. Salary starts at £13.91 per hour rising to £14.14 after training and probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or similar setting preferred.
• Empathy, reliability and ability to build relationships.
• Willingness to complete training and probation.

Responsibilities

• Support tenants with daily living and personal care.
• Assist with appointments and social activities in our centres and community.
• Promote independence, well-being and social engagement for residents.
