Wellbeing and Activities Assistant - Bank

As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your role will be to assist the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a variety of activities that promote the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of residents.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a safe living and working environment and contributing to the positive image of the home.
  • Reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
  • Assisting with the ordering and preparation of supplies for activities.
  • Building links with the local community (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to promote access and intergenerational activities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing diverse activities to stimulate residents' physical, cognitive, and social health.

  • Ensuring a safe environment and maintaining a professional image of the home.
  • Reporting changes in residents' conditions to relevant staff.
  • Supporting with supplies for activities.
  • Establishing community links to promote engagement and intergenerational activities.
