Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm and dedicated Wellbeing and Activities Assistant for Seagrave House Care Home in Corby. You will support a range of activities to enhance residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being, in a caring, respectful environment.

  • Support Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering activities for residents.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to
engage and stimulate the resident's physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Other responsibilities will include: Maintaini, As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Seagrave House Care Home in Corby, your primary responsibility will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering various activities that enhance the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of residents. You will be part of a close-knit team committed to providing exceptional care and helping residents enjoy a fulfilling experience. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and professional environment, reporting changes in residents' conditions, assisting in the preparation of supplies for activities, and fostering community links to promote intergenerational activities. Successful candidates will embody Avery Healthcare's values of being caring, supportive, honest, and accountable. You should possess effective communication skills, a positive attitude towards older people, and have previous experience working with older individuals in a dementia care setting. This role requires a DBS Disclosure check, paid for by Avery
