Job summary

Springcare is seeking a kind and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team. You will create a stimulating environment for residents and help strengthen the care team to enhance wellbeing.

You will organise personalised activities, liaise with third parties for events, accompany residents on outings, update records and engage with families. Two written references and a DBS check are required.

• Patience and understanding.
• Creativity, and willingness to join in with activities.

Responsibilities

• Organising personalised activities for residents
• Contacting and working with third parties to arrange events such as choirs, dancing and shows, and any transport that is needed.
• Managing any activities that have been organised
• Accompanying residents on any outings
• Attending any meetings
• Updating any social media platforms, newsletters, and noticeboards, with photographs and information
• Completing any documents and updating records.
