Job summary

Springcare is looking for a kind and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team and create a stimulating environment for residents. The role is 40 hours per week, with day contracts available, and involves coordinating activities and supporting wellbeing.

You will work as part of the care team to plan personalised programmes, liaise with external partners, and ensure activities run smoothly while maintaining clear records and communications.

Qualifications

• Two written references are required.
• DBS check and right to work in the UK evidence.

Responsibilities

• Organising personalised activities for residents.
• Coordinating events with third parties for activities and transport.
• Managing ongoing activities and outings for residents.
• Attending meetings and updating records.

The role:

Every day is different in care, and as an activities coordinator your daily routines may be:

Organising personalised activities for residents

Contacting and working with third parties to arrange events such as choirs, dancing and shows, and any transport that is needed.

Managing any activities that have been organised

Accompanying residents on any outings

Attending any meetings

Updating any social media platforms, newsletters, and noticeboards, with photographs and information

Completing any documents and updating records.
