Job summary

RGM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a reliable cleaner/labourer for a site-based role in Chertsey, Surrey, starting mid to late October 2026. The position offers £16.94 per hour with 9 hours paid per day on a long-term contract.

You will clean welfare facilities, assist site operatives and follow health and safety procedures, with references required and a strong team ethic.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card is required.
• Full PPE required.
• Previous construction site experience.
• Welfare or labouring experience preferred.
• References required.
• Reliable and punctual; good work ethic.
• Able to carry out cleaning and general labouring duties.
• Able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain welfare facilities on site.
• Clean toilets, canteens, drying rooms and communal areas.
• Empty bins and perform general housekeeping.
• Keep welfare facilities clean, tidy and presentable.
• Replenish welfare supplies as required.
• Perform general site cleaning and labouring duties.
• Move materials and assist site operatives.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Undertake other duties as required by the site team.

Duties

• Other general duties as required by the site team
