Job summary

RGM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a reliable Welfare Labourer to join a construction site in Chertsey, Surrey. Your duties include cleaning and maintaining site welfare facilities, toilets, canteen and changing areas, and managing waste to keep areas tidy and safe.

Requirements include a valid CSCS card, full PPE, and a good attitude with reliable timekeeping. Previous site or welfare experience is preferred. The role runs for about 2.5 years starting mid-October 2026, at £16.94 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining site welfare facilities.
• Cleaning toilets, canteen and drying/changing areas.
• Emptying bins and managing site waste.
• Keeping welfare areas clean, tidy and well stocked.
• Replenishing toilet roll, soap, paper towels and other supplies.
• General cleaning and housekeeping around the site.
• Keeping communal areas and access routes clean and safe.
• Assisting with general labouring duties when required.
• Following all site health and safety rules.
• Reporting any welfare or maintenance issues to the Site Manager.
• Carrying out other general site duties as required.

DURATION: Approximately 2.5 years

PAY: £16.94 per hour

HOURS: 9 hours paid per day
