Job summary

St. Paul’s C.E Primary School in Walkden, Salford, is seeking two Welfare Assistants to supervise pupils during the midday break. Positions: 5 hours/week and 7.5 hours/week, term time only. The role involves supervising meals or supervising in poor weather, maintaining safety and promoting school values. Applicants should have experience with children and be reliable, caring and inclusive. Enhanced DBS required.

Welfare Assistant

• Grade 1A
• Position 1 - 5 hours per week, term time only
• Position 2 - 7.5 hours per week, term time only

Required for as soon as possible

The Governors, staff and children at St. Paul’s Primary School are looking to appoint two Welfare Assistants to supervise pupils during the midday break either in the school grounds or in the school premises i.e. during the time when pupils are taking their meal or if the pupils are unable to use the school grounds because of inclement weather. All children deserve the very best and we are looking for someone who is committed to our school values.
