Hawes Side Primary Academy is seeking a caring Welfare Assistant to join our friendly team. You will help support the health, safety and wellbeing of our pupils throughout the school day, displaying empathy, reliability and clear communication.
The role includes basic first aid, recording welfare concerns and liaising with parents and staff. Previous experience with children is desirable, and the position is 10 hours per week.

The successful candidate will help support the health, safety and wellbeing of our pupils throughout the school day. This is an important role requiring someone who is approachable, patient and confident when caring for children.
We are looking for someone who is caring, calm and organised, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children. You should be able to work well as part of a team and handle sensitive situations professionally and confidentially.
Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, welfare or similar environment would be desirable.
This position is working 10 hours per week.
