St John's Catholic Primary School, Poulton-Le-Fylde is inviting applications for a welfare assistant to support pupils and the wider school community.

The role is 5 hours per week, 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday, 12-1pm, during term time, with safeguarding checks and opportunities for professional development.

Successful candidate will be passionate about children's welfare and work as part of a supportive staff team.

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated and passionate team at St John’s.

The post is available for 5 hours per week, working 1 hour per day Monday to Friday 12 - 1pm.

Two references including a judgement about suitability to work with children.
A member of the interview panel will be trained in implementing Child Protection procedures.

For teaching positions, barred list checks and prohibition from teaching checks will be carried out.
For leadership positions, section 128 checks will be performed.
