Salary: £150 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to apply for Lecturer roles in Welding within a further education setting.

You will be responsible for delivering practical and engaging lessons, fostering academic development, and contributing to an environment that promotes excellence and continuous learning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver engaging and practical lessons in various welding methods (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc).
  2. Ensure health and safety standards are upheld in the workshop at all times.
  3. Develop course materials and assessments aligned with current industry practices.
  4. Track and report student progress through assessments and feedback.
  5. Support learners in achieving qualifications and developing employability skills.
  6. Maintain workshop tools and equipment to ensure safety.
Requirements:
  • Hold a qualification or professional qualification in Welding basics and methodologies.
  • Relevant welding industry experience (essential).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of welding practices, safety protocols, and standards.
  • Ability to teach practical and theoretical content effectively.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
