Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking an experienced Welding Lecturer to join an established Further Education College in Worthing, delivering practical and theory-based lessons across Level 1-3 Welding and Fabrication programmes.

You should hold a Level 3 qualification or above in Welding or a related Engineering discipline, with experience teaching Welding in Further Education or delivering industry training. Strong MIG, TIG and MMA welding knowledge is required to run both workshop and classroom sessions.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Level 3 qualification or higher in Welding, Fabrication or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience teaching Welding in Further Education or delivering industry training.
  • Strong practical knowledge of MIG, TIG and MMA welding with ability to lead workshop and classroom sessions.
  • Passionate about helping learners achieve qualifications and progress in engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver practical and theory-based welding lessons across Level 1-3 Welding and Fabrication programmes.
  • Lead both workshop and classroom sessions using MIG/TIG/MMA welding.
  • Support learners to achieve their qualifications and progress in the engineering industry.

Job description

We are working with a well-established Further Education College in Worthing that is looking to appoint an experienced Welding Lecturer to join their Engineering department on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional or experienced lecturer to deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons across Level 1-3 Welding and Fabrication programmes.

What we are looking for

Level 3 qualification or above in Welding, Fabrication or a related Engineering discipline.

Experience teaching Welding within Further Education or delivering industry training. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

Strong practical knowledge of MIG, TIG and MMA welding processes, with the ability to deliver both workshop and classroom sessions.

Passionate about supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and progress within the engineering industry.

  • Competitive rate of £50 per hour.
