Job summary

A leading inspection company in the UK is seeking experienced Welding Inspectors for inspection work on various fabrication projects. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience, relevant certifications such as CSWIP 3.1 and NDT qualifications, and strong communication skills in English. This opportunity is freelance-based, requiring inspectors located in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience with 5 years in similar fabrication.
• Experience with daily/long term client inspections.
• Freelancer or inspection agency capable of invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities for fabrication components.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding standards.

RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

• Experienced in Conducting fabrication inspection of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles and accessories
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Inspector,
• NDT L2 in MT, PT, RT, UT
• Inspectors shall have minimum 10 years of experience (minimum 5 years shall be from similar type of fabrication). Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Inspector with coating inspection certificates such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is an added advantage
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
