Job summary

RINA is seeking experienced Welding Inspectors for inspection activities across the UK. Ideal candidates will have 10 years of experience in welding inspection, relevant certifications, and the ability to prepare formal inspection reports. This role requires UK residency and offers contract positions for freelance inspectors or agencies, covering short-term projects.

Qualifications

• 10 years experience, with 5 in similar fabrication.
• Experience in NDT (MT, PT, RT, UT) required.
• Freelancer or part of an inspector agency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for clients.
• Conduct inspections of vent hatches and related accessories.
• Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports.

RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

• Experienced in Conducting fabrication inspection of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles and accessories
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Inspector,
• NDT L2 in MT, PT, RT, UT
• Inspectors shall have minimum 10 years of experience (minimum 5 years shall be from similar type of fabrication). Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Inspector with coating inspection certificates such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is an added advantage
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
