Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking Welder/Fabricators in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire for permanent, full-time roles with good hours. You will weld metals using MIG (TIG a plus), read technical drawings, and work on factory and site-based projects, including airport sites requiring security clearance.

Starting pay is £17-£19 per hour with overtime and bonuses. Training through CITB/CPCS is offered, with clear progression paths and an emphasis on reliability and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding is a must (TIG welding skills are a plus).
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings.
• Familiarity with machines like presses and guillotines.
• Knowledge of safety rules and how to use tools properly.

Responsibilities

• Weld various materials using MIG (and TIG) while keeping quality high.
• Make parts using hand and power tools, following guidelines.
• Check your work and ensure strength and safety.
• Work with your team to assemble parts and install them.
• Keep your work area clean and follow safety rules.
