Job summary

Pembrokeshire College in Haverfordwest is seeking a Tutor in Welding Fabrication to join our vocational team. The role is full-time, salaried on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027, with a 37-hour week and 1120 annual delivery hours.

Salary scales start at TS22-24 (£29,440-£30,918 pro rata) and BAR TS25-29 (£31,878-£36,573 pro rata). Commencing salaries will be assessed according to the College’s starting salaries matrix within the BAR scale.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Welding or Fabrication.
• Recognised Teaching or Training Qualification (AET) with requirement to achieve if not held.
• Extensive experience in a practical welding fabrication environment and ability to pass on skills to colleagues or apprentices.
• Training or development qualification would be highly desirable.
