Job summary

Hewett-Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Tutor specialising in welding and fabrication to deliver engaging training to apprentices and adult learners in Worcester, with weekly travel to Hereford. The role features a dual arrangement (part-time and full-time) with a competitive benefits package.

You will plan lessons, support learners through apprenticeship standards, liaise with employers, and ensure assignments align with awarding bodies.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in engineering
• Experience in welding
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing/engineering
• Full UK driving licence
• Teaching or training qualifications preferred
• Apprenticeship-trained background
• HNC in Engineering
• Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, EAL qualifications, Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons, schemes of work, and learning resources
• Support apprentices to achieve apprenticeship standards and qualifications
• Liaise with employers and Learning & Development Specialists regarding learner performance
• Ensure assignments meet awarding body requirements
