Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd in Banbridge is seeking motivated people to join our Fabrication team. Learn on the job alongside experienced Welders and Fabricators who will mentor you as you build real skills in off-site manufacturing.

You’ll operate cutting or bevelling machinery, drive a forklift, kit and despatch finished goods, and help keep materials ready and organized so the fabrication team can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Learn by doing from day one alongside experienced Welders and Fabricators who will show you the ropes and help you build real skills.
• You’ll try, you’ll fail, you’ll learn in order to succeed sooner. That’s how we maintain our continuous learning environment.
• Make use of all the tools, training and support we provide, to experiment and grow.
• You could be operating cutting or bevelling machinery, driving a forklift, kitting product, protect, wrap and despatch finished goods for example.
• Keep the materials flowing – help get everything ready, organised, and in tip-top shape so the fabrication team can hit the ground running.
• Jump in with the Fabrication and Assembly team – lend a hand wherever it’s needed and help keep projects moving like clockwork.
