Job summary

Framatome UK invites applications for a Welding Coordinator in Avonmouth, Bristol to coordinate welding processes and documentation across manufacturing. You will manage weld books, welder qualifications, and defect tracking, ensuring compliance with ISO 3834 and company IMS while driving continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fabrication/welding, CSWIP 3.1, and NVQ Level 3 in engineering, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills in a regulated nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in fabrication/welding biased roles.
• CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in engineering or related subject.
• Knowledge of EN 1090, ISO 3834 and related standards.
• Experience with NDT processes.
• Nuclear industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to welding staff.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory standards are met.
• Maintain welding documentation and WPQR/WPS books.
• Lead welding activities and training of welders.
• Contribute to Design Reviews and Manufacturing Readiness.
• Lead improvement projects and implement welding procedures.
